Chicago Woman Allegedly Killed Her Boyfriend By Pouring Bleach Down His Throat After An Argument

In today’s completely overreacting after a relationship fight news, a Chicago woman allegedly killed her boyfriend by pouring bleach down his throat after the two got in an argument.
Authorities allege that 24-year-old Yasmine Elder murdered 26-year-old Darrius Ellis early Monday morning (March 6) after the couple was sitting in a van and got into an argument. Via a news release, police say Elder allegedly overpowered Ellis and poured the bleach in his mouth at around 1:45 a.m.
The Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office concluded that Ellis died from a “complication of forcible administration of a caustic substance,” according to a statement through PEOPLE Magazine.
Ellis was found lying on the ground unresponsive and was later taken to a nearby hospital where he passed away shortly afterwards.
Yasmine Elder was reportedly found on the street she lives and was arrested Monday evening. She appeared in court Thursday and was held on a $1 million bond.
