Guinea President visits Morocco for bilateral talks

Guinea’s President Alpha Conde visits Morocco on Thursday to discuss bilateral cooperation and stability in Africa with King Mohammed VI.

The talks, which were held at the Royal Palace of Casablanca, focused on the new level reached by bilateral relations following the recent official visit of the king to Conakry and the ambitious projects launched and announced on the occasion.
These discussions also tackled the agenda in the areas of peace, stability and development of the African Union, of which Alpha Conde is the acting chairman.
The leaders also mentioned Morocco’s recent request to join the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) and the steps to achieve this objective.
