Michelle Obama Gave Yara Shahidi The Biggest College Cosign

Most college applicants have their high school teachers or former employers write letters of recommendation for them. Yara Shahidi however is stunting on just about everyone right now.The Black-ish actress recently told W Magazine that former First Lady Michelle Obama wrote her a college recommendation letter, which is just about the biggest co sign anyone can get.“She is very amazing and such a supporter, which is something very surreal to say,” Shahidi told the publication. She’s supposedly applying to Obama’s alma mater Harvard, among other topline schools.
Malia Obama famously relayed that she’s going to be going to Harvard and plans on taking a gap year before going to school. Shahidi reportedly plans to do the same and will be studying African American studies and sociology via a double major.
